Dinosaurs, watch out for the volcano!

Today's card took me longer than I anticipated. I wanted to design my very own volcano card and add some dinosaurs that I purchased. I had it all planned in my head how it would look. If only it were that easy. So here, is my version of a volcano for a card with some dinosaurs as embellishments.
This is the process I went through to design my very own volcano card. I used Silhouette Design Studio. Thanks to my husband for the suggestion to have it open from the top. I was then able to get the right shape I wanted when the card is folded.

Here is the volcano card folded in half after going through the lengthy process to get the size and shape I wanted.

I then designed the lava flow on the Silhouette Design Studio as well so that the size would match up properly. I took a piece of green paper and just made some cuts in it with a scissors for the grass.

T-rex is made from a purchased shape for the Silhouette. I used my Cuttlebug for texture on t-rex.

Here is the inside of the card. I chose the font I wanted and typed out the saying, which I then welded the letters together. The brontosaurus is also a purchased shape.

Here is the finished card standing up.

This card is for one of our nephews whose birthday is coming up. We have a total of 10 nieces and nephews between both sides of our family. I never thought I would be able to design my own card, but this goes to show nothing is impossible.
